Other Lives - Tamer Animals Sampler by tbdrecords

Last weekend, my companions and I drove to Stillwater to see Other Lives play at their own cozy studio. After catching three of their shows at SXSW, I still hadn’t (and still haven’t) had my fill. Their performances are mesmerizing; creating an atmosphere with their use of strings, and the crowd can never help but smile. They can even slay it in seemingly, awkward in-store shows. I had to see them in an intimate setting while I still can, because a year from now I think their name will be well-known amongst music-enthusiast-elitists. Their new album, Tamer Animals, drops May 10th and they’re currently opening select dates for The National and The Decemberists. Just listen and be captivated by them. Oh, and did I mention Radiohead digs ‘em?
